A quick update

So, I guess I should post so that I have a presence on the current page of this blog. :)

Regarding Mr. Cancellation:

I have written him back with a very brief message. Since he had asked if I wanted to reschedule, all I wrote back was "Thanks for letting me know [about the cancellation]. Did you have a day in mind?" I was willing to be active in making the initial plan, but not the make-up one. I made sure to wait until well after when we would have met up to send this message. Will he write back (as he has already read this message)? Who knows. Ah, well.

Regarding other, more positive matters:

The third person I have been chatting with (whom I have mentioned but not gone into detail on) is turning out to be a really nice guy. He has been keeping in touch while overseas for work and holiday, but is just back in town. Before he returned to St. John's, he asked me to get coffee at some point, which I agreed to. I am fairly optimistic this coffee meet-up will happen, as he has been putting in the effort to communicate with me (as I have with him). I'm looking forward to meeting him; he seems to have a good sense of humor and...well...he seems normal. This is good. And, Jenn would also point out that he is tall (if profiles are to be believed). I will keep the blog posted if coffee plans firm up.
