So, I have now met up with Guy#1 for the second time. We met last night for a few beers, and it was really nice. Good conversation, again. And he did appropriate polite things: bought me my drinks, turned off his blackberry, etc. He even ran late to his other evening commitment (which I wouldn't have allowed except that it didn't involve people waiting for him to show up).
It was tossed out at the end that we might try to get something to eat this evening. However, with my paper being due tomorrow, I may need to postpone. But he knows this, so it wouldn't seem like an excuse.
All in all, good meet-up. We'll see what happens.
