I got my first message from a married guy today. It started out so promising:
Subject: You sound like someone worth knowing...
Hi, I like your style. Check out my profile and let me know if you think I could be someone worth getting to know, as well.
Cheers!
p.s. I bet you made an awesome Wonder Woman. )
The message was nice ("cheers" aside) and had a lovely subject line so I go to his page and discover that he's married and has this as his description:
If your looking for some intimate distraction, or just looking to be lead astray, message me and we will see what happens. No pressure, no strings, total discretion assured.
Not for me.

What is wrong with cheers? and why I am I reading this blog. Damn that hava java!!!
Yeah, you're very very anti "cheers." It got me that room I turned out not to want ...
"Cheers" just doesn't do it for me. It's such a trite salutation, and has poor associations for me.
I agree with Jenn. I am uber-soured on the use of "cheers" as a closing to a message.
You people are weird.
Best Regards.
