I didn't get roofied on my first Internet date!

I think this means it was a success. On a romantic level, not so much, since neither one of us seemed to be interested, but it was a very pleasant hour. I do not expect to hear from him, since he shook my hand at the end of the date, but it was only mildly awkward evening. Most of this awkwardness can be attributed to the fact that he repeatedly asked if I was a "silver spoon-fed Toronto girl." Bleh to that. But we talked about other, less offensive things, and the hour passed quickly.

I am much more excited with my next date. Hopefully there will be more chemistry.
