Communication styles

I have found it interesting how one adapts their email styles in this environment. Reflecting upon the "conversations" I have been having with three guys (I'm bumping one up into regular contact rotation, I think), I have noticed my messages taking on different styles.

For instance, with only one of these guys have I been full-on dorky and random. To the point that I closed one message with the following:

Me: (Sorry you get really, really random messages from me. I'm not sure why that is, either.)

[The either made sense in the context of the message.]

To which I received response that opened with the following line:

The guy: I LIKE YOUR RANDOM MESSAGES :p

With the other two, my messages are fairly linear. All of these guys are getting honest versions of me, but, as in the quote of myself above, I don't know why this one guy gets an extra helping of Ginny-non-sequitur.

However, he hasn't been scared off yet. Success? Maybe a little.
