First contact

After much procrastination, I finally put up my profile. Much to my surprise, I instantly got a request for an IM chat with someone who I will call "DM". It makes me wish I'd put "Douchebags need not reply" on my profile, which I had jokingly mentioned doing just a few minutes before I got DM's IM request. Choice snippets follow.

DM: whhat do u look like
J: um, what i look like? my picture isn't up on my profile yet?
DM: nope
J: oh, i just joined. i guess it'll show up eventually. i have brown hair, hazel eyes, i'm not hideous to look at
J: you?
DM: 6.1 brwn haor blue eyes
DM: do u have msn pics?
J: nope! sorry

DM: so u are mixed race?

DM: still no pic
J: sorry. but i have no pic of you either

DM: send me your pic
J: i would but i have to leave.

That last sentence was a lie.
