Oppression

I'm not even in this poll -- which Ginny is only winning because of backroom donation deals. She also has the religious right working for her. My stepmother's Facebook status reads "praying hard...Ginny '08"

I'm okay being excluded from the poll. I tend to annihilate Jen at online Scrabble. It would be unfair to beat her at love.

Jen, I'm glad your mandate was, well, non-horrible...? Don't worry there are plenty of fish in the sea-ternet.

Did you ask him if he was a "salt-fish boozy Newf" or "a turnip"?

I got a message today again from "Old Book Guy -- Yeah, No!" or OBGYN. It was an inane response to my response to his fatuous original message. Here's the full play by play:
---------------
OBGYN:
P.D. Eastman's "Go Dog Go" is far more philosophically complicated than Dr. Seuss's "The Cat in the Hat."

How's that for the initiation of a book argument?

;-)

--------------
ME:
Well, "Go dog Go" won the Giller right?
~M

-------------
OBGYN:
ummmm, I don't think so. It was published in 1961; the Giller Prize was established in 1994.
Cheers...

Grow a life! I appreciate that he is trying. I really do. But I'm half his age. Come on dude!!

We should change our poll title to "Which girl will win at online dating?" Or make a new one that includes you.

My slogan for next year is:

Ginny all the time in 2009.

Or

A vote for Ginny is a vote against a linguist. :P
