I win at failing

I had a date tonight. I was really excited but then it ended up being the most horrific hour of my life. Every bad thing you might expect from an Internet date happened.

First, he was late. But he called to say he would be a few minutes late, which was very considerate, so not the end of the world. Then he arrived and couldn't unzip his jacket. Seriously. The next twenty plus minutes proceeded as follows:

So I did what I never thought I'd do: run to the bathroom to call in an escape. (Ginny was to call me in 10 minutes with details of the rest of our evening, since I dropped the seed that I had other, unspecified plans after our coffee date rather early into our awkward conversation.)

Ginny is awesome and saved my butt from the most awkward hour of my life, with minimal laughter at my expense.

As I was bolting after my boldfaced lies, which kept getting more and more detailed, he stopped me to give me a note on a folded up Chapters receipt. (We were at the Chapters Starbucks.)

On the note? Feelings. Thumbs down for feelings.

Afterwards, Ginny and I headed to the Grapevine because I needed liquor:

Basically, my disappointment stems from the fact that he completely misrepresented himself to me. I know you should put yourself forward in the best possible light but you need to be honest about it, too. Dude looked nothing like his picture or his description of self, which I can sort of understand in terms of his body type but how can he not know his height? He thought he was 5'8" (my height) when, in reality, he's much closer to 5'5". That's a big difference. Plus side, Thursday's date seems so much more awesome now.

Awww ... that does sound sucky. Especially the feelings. Good thing Ginny could help you bail out!

what EXACTLY did the note say?
did it actually just say "Feelings" ?
I'm confused.
Also, why are you a comictician?

The note actually said:

YOU ARE THE CUTEST, MOST BEUATIFUL GIRL I'VE MET ON THESE.
YOU ARE ADORABLE AND NOW I FEEL WEIRD.
I THINK YOU ROCK.

The Spelling error is his.

It's represented graphically because it seemed appropriate.
